Lowrance Broadband Sounder Update Version 2.5.0

Warning:

This update addresses issues some customers have reported with their digital depth reading flashing or the sonar chart stopping scrolling, typically in very shallow water with thick weed coverage.

For weed coverage improvements, Shallow Mode must be enabled. To enable Shallow Mode: On a display device connected to the LBS-1 module, view the SONAR page, press the MENU button to open the Sonar Menu and select SONAR Features... and in the Fishing Mode drop-down box, ensure Shallow water is selected.

Be sure to only have the files for this update loaded on the SD card for proper updating. Including other files on the SD card can result in a failed update.

Also, please update your LBS-1 before updating any head units.

Notes: Mac OS X users may need to reapply the execute permissions to the stand-alone installer after it has finished downloading. To reapply the execute permissions, open a Terminal window, and type the following command (this assumes you downloaded the file to your desktop):
chmod +x desktop/LBS-1_250.command
